Wowee! It was the end of January just yesterday it seems –
I’d finished my top 10, winding down from another great 4th Saturday at Liberty Bar.
Suddenly a nice weekday gig was offered – I prepped a bunch of great tracks to make ’em happy, also packed a box of records just in case, and just in case happened 😛 The booth was so small – with slim Serato mixer and the 2 turntables in battle position – I was asked not to move any cables – so I played vinyl. It went well – had to replace the needles with my own & rebalance everything, they make it a lot heavier with the Serato. Anyhows, it was fun & went well 🙂
Thennnn…I had to get a costume together for The Philadelphia Experiment’s (PEX) 6th Heartburn party at The Electric Factory in Philly – wowowowowow what a night into morning as the Bubbels & Bass crew from Baltimore then gave us Bubbles & Bass :-*
and suddenly, it near the end of the month & time for Liberty Bar coming up this Saturday…
And, SPINTHESIS on TechnoHouse.fm is going great! I wasn’t sure if Monday nights (for me!) 9-11pm ET (ny time) would be a good fit, but there’s a great spread of listeners all over the world & I’m so happy to be on such a great station, so, we stay on Mondays! (and I’ll get those mixes up on iTunes as well!)
