I listen to so much music, all day & night. New music, old music – dance music, world music, jazz, show tunes – lol 🙂

It seems the more time I devote to really deeply listening and sorting the tunes into future slots for mixing, my writing and sometimes even verbal ability suffers a bit. Guess so much of the brain is entranced with the task at hand – and that task is huge. Living with a dj or musician is very very difficult, not only are we listening to & talking about  music almost constantly the brain is processing a myriad of related topics – where can I play this, who do I need to call for a gig? This would be good on the new mix, hey maybe my friend Jen can design the art for it, shall I make it cd or just release it as a download…etc etc…all this while the other person has been trying to get you to converse in some sort of intelligible manner 🙂

Guess I’ll try a speaking program again – used one awhile ago – may be good 😀

Late Night Alumni – Haunted – Ultra Records – Just discovered this band the other night.Very pleasant poppy indie chill groove to sway to in hip establishments. several of the tracks are growing on me, her voice is nice, the usual breathy female and gets a bit on after a bit, but as a whole, quite nice. I like – No or Yes, Sustaining, In The Ashes
